New Standard for B2B Variable Printing (VDP)
Demand for small-batch, highly customised, on-demand production is booming in today’s B2B manufacturing world. The high set-up costs and downtime make it impossible to handle variable data on traditional offset and flexographic printing production lines.
We have thoughtfully designed our industrial grade UV digital inkjet printers to fill this void. This system is designed for simple online integration and can directly print high-resolution variable text, barcodes, QR codes and graphics that are immediately solidified to high-speed production lines. Whether upgrading your existing processing production line or building an intelligent packaging factory, our one-way UV inkjet technology will not affect the production efficiency.
Working principle of high speed core technology
The precision of the scale is directly proportional to the efficiency of the digital customisation. Our equipment uses advanced on-demand inkjet (DOD) piezo inkjet technology combined with industrial grade print heads (e.g. Kyocera or Ricoh) that can achieve a native resolution up to 1200 DPI and speed up to 120-150 meters per minute.
Key technical highlights:
- Printing design. The print head is stationary and the material passes under the head (similar to scanning tablets) so the printer can print CMYK, white and varnish in full speed.
- Advanced LED-UV curing Instant fixation and complete curing technology can immediately lock ink droplets in place, eliminate dot expansion, and allow for immediate downstream post-press processing (die-cutting, slitting, or stacking).
- A fully servo-driven connection system reduces vibrations, assuring perfect alignment and precise dot placement, even with very thin or thick cardboard.

Reliability in industrial applications, troubleshooting
Factory environments are harsh and dusty . Industrial inkjet printers are used in such factories . To achieve the maximum overall equipment efficiency (OEE), the system should be able to perform automated maintenance and quickly recover.
Our machines feature smart technology that anticipates problems and automatic cleaning capabilities to prevent common problems such as clogged nozzles, low ink and pressure drops.
Automated fail-safe functions
- Automatic printhead cleaning and wiping: The nozzle plate stays clean without any manual intervention, decreasing the chance of scratches and damage.
- Intelligent closed loop negative pressure system: ensures the ink flow is highly stable, preventing ink dripping or insufficient ink supply during sudden speed changes.
- Anti-collision Sensor – When the conveying system encounters wrinkled substrates or tags, it will stop immediately to prevent any physical impact with your print head investment.

Multifunctionality and industrial material applications
The key driver for the uptake of UV LED inkjet technology is its superb substrate versatility. UV inks are cured by photochemical reactions, not evaporation, therefore they can be applied to porous and non-porous substrates with no bleeding or smudging of the colours.
Main application flow:
- Clothing and Accessories: High density printing with clear, easy to read fonts on clothing labels, price labels and ribbons.
- RFID and smart packaging: Zero data duplication by online serial number, chip code verification and variable QR code printing on smart tags.
- Fast-moving consumer goods and food packaging: Direct printing on disposable lunch boxes, food bowls and lids and narrow-width printing using low-migration, environmentally friendly UV ink.

Solving industry pain points, maximising return on investment
B2B buyers are most concerned about two things: how to get rid of production bottlenecks and how to shorten the payback period of investment. Plate-making delays, large amounts of waste in job preparation and high pre-printing inventory costs cost traditional production lines thousands of dollars a day in lost revenue.
Impact of digital UV inkjet technology on profit indicators:
- Eliminate pre-printed inventory Print variable product info on demand Going from a warehouse of preprinted products and many SKUs to a Just-In-Time (JIT) workflow.
- Zero switching delay: The software allows you to instantly switch between different SKUs, barcodes or layout variants. No mechanical board replacement, no production stoppage.
- Greatly reduce waste: Reduce traditional 5% of setup waste to below 0.8%, which saves a significant amount of raw material costs in large-scale annual contracts.
